A more traditional CV for some street cred, my personal bio: In brief, I am a startup founder, turnaround specialist, and former CEO with specific expertise in building national teams and enterprises and the underlying processes that create excellence and (hopefully) extraordinary internal teams and the leaders that lead them. I coach high functioning people to become more aligned with themselves. I train and teach others to lead with excellence.
Since 1993, I have served as CEO or President of regional or national companies in digital media, manufacturing and distribution as well as pioneering the consolidation of fragmented industries. As Founder and CEO of a national consolidation platform roll-up in digital media, my team raised more than $15MM in common and preferred stock, pioneering a wave of mergers and acquisitions in the market segment, and built a portfolio of national suppliers to providing a more scalable and efficient model to serve our clients such as Nike, The Home Depot, Verizon Wireless and other brands. The company was sold to an investor in 2005.
Since 2006, I have co-founded two additional companies, one social media and digital marketing agency and one e-commerce platform in the apparel industry. Building internal teams in early stage enterprises as well as creating high caliber, high functioning leaders with my co-founders has been a critical focus as this is sometimes the most singularly difficult challenge an enterprise can face during growth and scale.
